Arno te Loo

Arno played all of the Netherlands in 1973 as youngest drummer ever and before that, he was a regular guest on national radio shows. Between the age of 10 and 13 he participated in the National Solist Competition several times, winning three second place awards.

After being accepted as a classic drummer at the conservatorium he decided to change direction into pop/rockdrummer. Local as well as national bands follow and Arno also worked as a session musician when he became an allround drummer. In the nineties, while playing the top 100 circuit, Arno went back to school and studied an entrepeneurship with positive results.

He travelled through all of Europe with his own audio/visual  production company, managing and supporting acts from all over the world at festivals in the Netherlands as well.

A break followed between the years 1999 and 2007, when he became a fulltime teacher for talented runner up drummers. After that period he picked up his career again when he joined several tribute bands (Meanstrike, Tribute to Y&T, 4eighner, Foreigner/Aeroforceone, Aerosmith, Whitesnake/Smokin and Tribute To Boston), playing all over Europe.

In 2012 he started Phoenix Event Productions, arranged a Welfare Tour for Cliniclowns: ‘Tribute to the Classic Rock’.
He met his current bandmembers during that period and when he asked Bert Heerink as the lead singer he found himself surrounded by experience and talents in Royal Flush.
